- <jats:title>Abstract</jats:title><jats:p>The front cover artwork is provided by a team of researchers from the Universities of Mainz and Rostock. The image shows the molecular structure of the Cr<jats:sup>III</jats:sup> photosensitizer [Cr(ddpd)<jats:sub>2</jats:sub>]<jats:sup>3+</jats:sup> which enables C−H bond activation of tertiary amines through generation of singlet oxygen from air and light. Ultrafast intersystem crossing precludes intermolecular nonselective photoredox reactions and allows a selective photochemical pathway through singlet oxygen formation.
